Non NHS Services
There are a number of Non NHS Services that we can provide e.g. private sick notes, passport application forms, HGV medicals, pre-employment medicals, holiday cancellation Forms etc. A list of our current charges for these services is available at the surgery. Please allow at least a week for completion of forms and documents.
Antenatal
If you find that your pregnancy test is positive, please contact the surgery and we will refer you to the midwife. The midwife will then arrange an appointment for you in the antenatal clinic and will inform you via a letter.
Patients are then seen by the midwife at the surgery, during your appointments the midwife will support and advise you as well as monitor you and your baby's progress. You will also be referred to a local hospital of your choice where you will be seen by a midwife and may be seen by one of the hospital doctors as well. Once your baby is born, the midwife will call to see you giving continual care, support and advice. The doctors, at six weeks, carry out postnatal checks at the surgery. Please make an appointment for this check. The health visitor will also call after about 10 days to provide support and information about your new baby.
